Laskoff & Associates was originally founded by Robert A. Laskoff in 1983. The firm has since developed a diverse civil and criminal litigation practice with an emphasis on personal injury, criminal defense, domestic relations, workers’ compensation and social security. First and foremost we are trial lawyers. We try cases in all of Maine’s sixteen counties and both federal courts, and our lawyers have taken hundreds of cases to trial.
The firm also provides advice to businesses and individuals in a wide range of matters such as employment or business disputes, debt collection, real estate, finance and personal bankruptcy, wills and estates, and consumer issues.
We are experienced with various forms of alternate dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration.
Sometimes we are able to resolve matters without resorting to the courts, but when litigation is required, we will be there to help you. The firm is proud to have on public display a number of works of art. Although paintings from throughout the country are represented, a significant part of the collection is of Maine artists such as Joel Babb, Chris Huntington and Cadwallader Washburn.
