Robert Laskoff lectures at the Santa Barbara College of Law

Robert A. Laskoff, senior partner of the Lewiston law firm of Laskoff & Associates, was a guest lecturer in November 2008 at the Santa Barbara College of Law in Santa Barbara, California. Attorney Laskoff lectured to the Senior Class at the Law School on the topics of the Anatomy of a Personal Injury Lawsuit and Negotiating a Settlement in a Commercial Law Litigation Setting.

William Cote is chosen by the Board of Governors of the Maine State Bar Association to be a recipient of the John W. Ballou Distinguished Service Award

William B. Cote of the Lewiston litigation law firm of Laskoff & Associates has been chosen as a co-recipient of the John W. Ballou Distinguished Service Award by the Board of Governors of the Maine State Bar Association at its January 2009 annual meeting.

The award, named for a prominent Bangor lawyer, is given to a member of the legal community who exemplifies the example set by Ballou and recognizes the tireless and longstanding committment Attorney Cote and co-recipient Attorney David Kee have made to saving the lives and careers of impaired lawyers.
