Lloyd Martin practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, bankruptcy, social security, and wills and estates. He represents individuals and businesses before state courts on matters involving breach of contract and tort, real estate, business disputes, guardianships and conservatorships, and consumer issues. Lloyd aids social security clients to obtain, or keep, their social security benefits, and guides those in need through the bankruptcy process. He also advises clients regarding medicare, medicaid and nursing home issues, as well as a variety of other issues such as landlord-tenant and employment and unemployment.
Lloyd received his B.A. in History from Dartmouth College in 1983 and his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law in 1986. He is a member of the Androscoggin County Bar Association and the Maine State Bar Association. He was admitted to practice in Maine state and federal courts in 1986.
He formerly served on the Auburn Planning Board and on the Board of Directors of the St. Martin de Porres homeless shelter. Born and raised in Van Buren, Lloyd speaks French. He resides in Auburn with his wife Liz and their daughter.
